Ford issued a separate recall for approximately 400,000 2010-12 Ford Escape and 2010-11 Mercury Mariner vehicles equipped with 3.0-liter engines that the company said have fuel delivery module fuel supply port could crack, causing a possible fuel leak.
Wow, this is the first I've heard of this issue

Did you guys ever get this recall done on your rides?

Last time I was at the stealership they said a fix hadn't become available yet. (August)

My letter came in Dec 2016.
It states on the outside of the envelope it came in,
right above the address window:
"SAFETY RECALL NOTICE"

There's also a banner on the right side of the envelope
"IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL INFORMATION"
"Issued in accordance with Federal law."

SAFETY RECALL 16S41 is the number.
My vehicle doesn't exhibit any symptoms, so I never went to a dealer.
Ford will notify me by mail when service parts are available, then they
will make a service appointment at that time.

I haven't heard a word from Ford yet. Kind of poor (slow) service
for a safety recall. I'll contact Ford, and post their reply once I get it.

Well, this is interesting.

I contacted Ford thru http://WWW.fordowner.com,
had to create an account, looked up safety recalls, and found the below message,
along with the throttle body Field Service Action item.

Ford never notified me, so it looks like I'll need to contact my local dealer for service.

Recall Date: OCT 24, 2016
Recall Title: FUEL DELIVERY MODULE FLANGE REPLACEMENT
NHTSA Recall Number: 16V777
Ford Recall Number: 16S41
Recall Description: ON YOUR VEHICLE, THE FUEL DELIVERY MODULE MAY DEVELOP A CRACK IN THE FUEL SUPPLY PORT, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A LEAK.
Risk to Safety: A FUEL LEAK MAY RESULT IN A FUEL ODOR AND/OR VISIBLE FUEL ON THE GROUND UNDER THE FUEL TANK. A FUEL LEAK IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF A FIRE.
Remedy Program: PARTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE. FORD MOTOR COMPANY HAS AUTHORIZED YOUR DEALER TO REPLACE THE FUEL DELIVERY MODULE FLANGE FREE OF CHARGE (PARTS AND LABOR).
Status: 11 - RECALL INCOMPLETE

Manufacturer Notes: TO CHECK FOR NON-SAFETY-RELATED PROGRAMS APPLICABLE TO YOUR VEHICLE, SEE HTTP://WWW.FORD.COM/ OR http://WWW.LINCOLN.COM OR CALL YOUR FORD OR LINCOLN DEALER.

I just found out today that Ford never did notify owners that parts are now available.

I went to www.fordowner.com,
created an account, and looked up safety recalls for my VIN.
Sure enough, parts are now available, and it's up to me to schedule
the service.

I would suggest anyone who's still waiting, to do the same (create an acct @ Fordowner.com)
and search your recalls.
I'm not too pleased about having to do it, but at least the possible problem
can be serviced now.
