Jeep Wheels

Postby Twister - December 16th, 2016, 3:07 am

Looking for a second set of wheel for my 2003 E so i can mount a set of winter tires. I came across a set of jeep wheels for very cheap and was wondering if anyone had used these wheels on their escapes. These are the ones i am thinking of picking up.

So long as the bolt pattern matches up you should be fine.

Side note: what Jeep were those on? :?

These look like 90's Jeep (non-Grand) Cherokee wheels

Offset it going to be different. Jeep Cherokee was a 20 offset, escape is ~40, so they will stick out further. Those were based on a rwd platform.

Is that a large difference with the offset? I am new to the whole wheel offset/backspacing. Will they stick out a lot of just a little bit more.

They'll probably stick out jut under a half inch. Do you know what bolt pattern those are? That should be your biggest concern.

20mm more would be just over 3/4 inch over a 40 offset, however, looking up offsets, the Escape of your year can be a 42 or 45 offset, so your going to be closer to an inch more. I'm sure they will work, but it's up to you if they look OK.
