Radio has a mind of its own

Postby Thinkin - November 27th, 2016, 9:02 am

I bought a used 2009 Escape Hybrid with 95,000 miles. The radio volume will suddenly go to top volume. I turn it down and it will jump again. The radio will also be at full volume when I start the car. I have to make sure the radio is turned off when I turn the car off. It also switches to Sirius Radio, which I do not have a subscription to. Please help, Ann

Sounds like you need a Sync update if equipped.
Register to syncmyride and follow direction on updating also they have a downloadable micro program to set the volume.

Hope that help
