So you are digging the stereo? Does the clock have a 12 hr setting besides the 24 hour setting? How's the GPS? Kinda digging yours and thinking it would be more future proof than the Boss (which I really love) I currently have installed. Most importantly, how well does the GPS work?

It does have the 12hr setting.
Navigation is very fast, cold boot 10 seconds.
You can use every navigation software and maps you like.
Also, I see some people like to mirror their phone to the screen, easy with an Android radio.
And you can stream music via bluetooth or WIFI.
There is almost no limits to what this radio can do, voice activation, GALA, etc.

Outstanding! Thanks so much for the info! Now, one last question...When in reverse and the backup camera is on, can you still control the volume, or does the backup cam override everything? My Boss overrides everything and it is kind of annoying. Also, does the backup cam come on when in reverse and the radio is off anyway? The Boss does and I do like that. Titt for tat it seems.

Oh yes...How is the call quality using the hands free and the microphone they provide and where did you mount yours? The Boss is built in. Sounds acceptable, but better would be nice. :thumb:

I haven't tried the volume in reverse, but the volume goes down a few steps as long as you are in reverse.
So it doesn't go to zero. But you can change the volume in settings to your liking.
the same goes for sounds in navigation, it can be configured to cut the music entirely or stay on the background.
My radio is always on, so I don't know if the camera still works when the radio is off, I'll try this this week!
I allready had a Parrot microphone in the car left from the rearview mirror and it works very well, sound is better then the Parrot.

I tested the radio today, radio off and in reverse and the camera works. :thumb:

What about the radio volume control? Is it overriden? If the backup cam is on in reverse, if you wanted to, could you change out of the cam to say, the radio? :?

The external TPMS with replaceable battery is very interesting. It looks like a completely independent system from the factory system - which brings me to wonder, if they re not synced/programed with the factory system, how do you disable the factory system so that it doesn't say "Tire pressure monitor sensor fault" on your dash?

How do you like the android HU? I'm considering the joying one (identical to this one really) vs installing a 7" tablet like the nexus 7 there. Does the HU have any crossovers for the speakers/pre-outs? My old pioneer avic has all that.

Thanks to Logrus we can turn DRL on or off, TPMS on or off and other stuff, odd to even radiochannels and back.
thankfully I don't need that anymore, this Android radio does everything and a lot better then the standard radio.
I'm very pleased with it and not yet ready playing around with all the settings.
At tweakers.net you can find a lot of custom roms with better then average tweaks and optimisations.
They currently are working to get Android 5.0 to work with these radios.
The TPMS is rocksolid, easy to work with and very handy to see the temperatures develop during a hot day.

Which bezel/faceplate did you buy, and use? Your install looks great.
