Coilovers

Postby jdryman09 - November 30th, 2016, 2:51 pm

I've looked and looked and basically seen that nobody makes coilover kits specifically for the escape. My question is, what would go into making a set of coilover fit for an escape (2003). Is there a good brand to start with?
Welding involved?
Custom brackets?
What issues will I run into?
If there are any suspension pros on here I'd much appreciate any advice on what would go into making a custom fit coilover set. So far I've only seen one person do it (@modifiedescape) and I haven't heard back from them . Thanks to anyone who can help

You're right that no one makes them (yet). If you are on Instagram DM modifidescape, like you said he's working on a set. I'm sure there's a bunch that is custom. If done well your issues should be minimal. Lowlifeprojects also on Instagram has a custom build.
