Nice idea but I wonder how small the supports will break down, they look like they could be a bit bulky.

Looks as if a traditional stand would use up less room and less set-up time.

Yes, but this looks way more stable... It's a gimmick, I can't remember ever wishing I had a hammock anywhere I've parked my Escape :shrug:

I've seen people tie hammocks to a nearby tree and then a solid mounting on on their vehicle itself. As mentioned above that looks kind of big as far as storage is concerned.
