New club!

Postby MazdaShark - October 4th, 2015, 10:37 pm

The first annual meeting of the "escapes-that-have-the-fabric-falling-off-the-door" club has been called to order, members may now feel free to express frustration. :bang:

My genuine imitation leather covering started to fall off over 2 years ago. The foam pad, which is the same junk they use in headliners, disintegrates. I found a nice headliner material at Jo-Ann fabrics to recover it with.

I glued 2 panels back on over the years. On the day I traded the Escape in, a third one fell off as I drove to the dealership  . I'm glad the dealer didn't say anything about it. Also glad I don't have to deal with that any more... :D

but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment...

Wow, these interior issues have totally eluded me, which is surprising because I smoke and that's is the #1 killer of interior glue
