Trico NeoForm wiper blades

Postby Charles - January 15th, 2013, 8:31 pm

Originally, I went to Costco and purchased the Goodyear wiper blades they had. Installed them on the Caddy. Discovered during yesterday's monsoon that both blades almost walked out of the wiper arm which would have damaged my windshield.

Went to Advance Auto Parts and bought some new wiper blades this morning. These were buy one, get the 2nd one for 50% off.

Very happy with them. Not cheap but they won't cause my windshield to become damaged. :yahoo:

I also bought the NoGoodyears. What a POS they are!
Just got a coupon yesterday from Ford, 2 new motorcraft wiper blades installed for less than 20 bucks. Stopping there today.

I have the Trico ExactFit 20" model: 20-15B. It has an adapter that perfectly fits my 2008.
So far so good. No squeaks. I have it just for 5 months. Cannot comment on how long it is going to last.
Bought 2 with a rebate of $7.50 last year.

I have never heard of the Trico brand before. I was going to ask my dealer to get me the same exact ones my 2012 Escape came with. They lasted over a year, and I have never in my life had wipers last this long!!

I hadn't heard of them either before now. Like what I see.

There is nothing like driving down the road in a driving rainstorm watching your wiper blades walk out of the arms. Windshields aren't chearp. :censor:

Picked up some factory blades this weekend. Car came with aftermarket ones when I bought it. What a difference, even look better without the big block adapter the Goodyears had. Worth the 20 bucks!

I checked 2 places for the Trico blades, neither had ones to fit the later snap in type.

I agree the factory blades are great. I got them at my Dealer for $17.50 each I believe the receipt said. Totally worth the price if I get another full year out of them. :thumb:

Also have the Trico NeoForm blades on our 2 vehicles and they work great. Previously I tried new OEM blades on my E and they were awful. Chatter was unbelievable and they were brand new. I don't know if there was something wrong with the Motorcraft blades, but I did buy then new from my local dealer. Replaced them after about 1 month with the Trico's and no more chatter.
