I picked up, a new playing device also.
This is definitely my last, entertainment apparatus for a while.
Shall submit photos later on, when i have calmed down.
Reading the instruction manual.
I would have liked a brand new cam corder, but this one is a " Demonstrator Model ".
It is not the top shelf calibre, as that is too expensive.
I did not go for a base model, because i want movie quality, plus some bells and whistles.
My choice was a " SONY " mid range model.
It was in the display cabinet, for about two months.
Henceforth a few customers, would have handled it.
I checked every square inch.
The " SONY XR200V " cam corder is in mint condition. :shades:
Me does not feel paranoid, but set up an extended warranty.
It is basically brand new, and was the display cabinet, " Customer demonstrator model ".
They did not have that, particular model in stock, as in their back room.
Because this is my first experience, the XR200V has the functions i need.
So i paid in cash, which means price was knocked down.
I went for a " Protective carry bag ", plus a spare battery and the mini HDMI cable.
Currently charging the battery, on my little compact Sony XR200V cam corder.
Have never used a movie apparatus before.
Yes, i am totally new to this scene. :woohoo:
It has " HD " plus also capable of " SD " type movies. :yahoo:
A hot shoe for a boom mike, or a portable light.
A 4 megapixel camera, which does not bother me.
Anyway my Nikon D40X, will be used all the time, in context of photos.
The Sony cam corder has a, 120GB hard drive plus that memory card function.
The lens are of " Carl Zeiss " quality , plus have zoom adjustment.
I gave reviews a perusal.
Some regard the " GPS " as a bit gimmicky.
Well i see it as a quite important feature.
Have allways, been intrigued by satellite technology and triangulation.
