Anzo Headlights // 2010 E Installed! [Pic Heavy]

Postby JaketheMan - January 2nd, 2017, 6:03 pm

I ordered the new Anzo headlights that came on the market a few months ago and I have to say they look great! I followed the installation video Sypder made for their headlights. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or what but that bumper does NOT come off as easily as the video portrays. It took me about 4 hours total to install, adjust, and finish. If you have any questions let me know!

I'll go out on a limb and say you're the first to install these. Looking good, how do they look and perform at night?

On the bumper, yeah the first time you attempt to take it off it'll take a while. It still takes me a while to remove it. Last time I took mine off my arm got all cut up and I was about ready to take the dremel to one of the clips. :wall:

I tested and leveled the headlights tonight (25 feet away from wall). I think having the projector versus reflective housing is making a huge difference. Much farther and wider view.

As a follow up, one of my headlight bulbs stopped working in less than a week. Am I frustrated? Yes. Am I surprised? No. This happens with most assemblies. Either way the bulbs are h3s. I got Philips Silverlight bulbs and they have a nice appearance and are trusted. I recommended installing these bulbs right away before you install the assemblies. It is quite the task to take these small bulbs with them already installed!

Are they working now that you replaced the bulbs?

I am not quite sure about that. The lights are H3 halogen bulbs.

Amazing! I am impressed and love the way it looks on your E. I have absolutely same color combination. Much better than Spyder imho. Thanks for sharing

Those are slick Jake. The accent LED bar on top, what drives the power for those? I ended up buying the spyder headlights with some halo LEDs and I can't decide on the best source to power those.
